This weekend, on 18–19 July, the Mūsa Raceland circuit near Bauska will host one of the most anticipated motorsport events of the summer, the Mūsa Rallycross Weekend. Over two action-packed days, spectators can expect thrilling wheel-to-wheel racing across 17 competition classes, spectacular jumps, powerful rallycross cars, and some of the finest drivers from the Baltic States and across Europe.
The event will bring together several rallycross championships at one venue, including Round 4 of the Latvian–Lithuanian Rallycross Championship and rounds of the Polish Rallycross Championship. This offers spectators a rare opportunity to experience a wide variety of rallycross machinery, competitors from different generations, and unique racing strategies that make each class exciting in its own way.
The level of interest from competitors confirms that the Mūsa Rallycross Weekend is set to become one of the biggest rallycross events in the Baltics this season. Within just a few days of registration opening, more than 65 drivers had already entered, while organisers expect over 100 competitors from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland to take the start this weekend. Registration remains open, and the latest entry list is available at
www.rallycross.lv.
"We are delighted to once again welcome the fastest rallycross drivers from the Baltic States and Poland to the Mūsa circuit. Over the years, competitors have repeatedly described Mūsa as one of the fastest and most enjoyable rallycross tracks, confirming that it is capable of hosting top-level international competition. We can guarantee spectators an exciting weekend filled with close racing, speed and unforgettable emotions," says Jānis Bergs, representative of the event organisers.
On Saturday, spectators will witness the opening qualifying heats alongside various entertainment activities throughout the venue. On Sunday, the decisive stages of the event will take place, with the remaining qualifying races, finals and the crowning of the weekend's winners.
Visitors are also invited to explore the paddock area, where they can get up close to the race cars, watch teams preparing the vehicles between heats, and meet the drivers. The detailed event timetable will be published closer to the event.
Organisers have also invested in improving the spectator experience. Fans will be able to enjoy the action from the renovated grandstand, offering excellent visibility across most of the circuit. Families are equally welcome, with a dedicated children's entertainment area featuring a variety of attractions for younger visitors.
This weekend, Mūsa Raceland will undoubtedly be the place to be for motorsport enthusiasts and anyone looking for an exciting outdoor summer event. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the unique atmosphere of rallycross, experience high-speed racing and support your favourite drivers together with family and friends.
Tickets are available via bilesuserviss.lv and will also be available for purchase at the venue during the event.
